True love is when sacrifices are made even when life's at stake. No one knows when or where accidents may occur, neither none of us has the idea when will our lives be taken away from us.
Going up and down was made easy through the innovation of escalators as replacement for the exhausting stairs. All you have to do is stand and wait till your at the end of the escalator. Effortless.
However, no matter how convenient escalators may be, there's no assurance that it'll be the safest tool to use.
Two sales ladies were almost 'eaten' by the malfunctioning escalator in a mall in Jinzhou City, China. Luckily, they were able to evade an accident. The two stayed for a while, observing the escalator and left later on.
Few moments later, a mother and her son rode the same escalator while two sales ladies were watching them go up. One of the employees even pointed out to the mother that the escalator is broken in a specific part she pointed. But the mother didn't seem to understand or hear her warning.
She carried her son while standing on the right side of escalator. As soon as she reached the end and stepped on the metal platform, the part where stepped on broke open and instantly pulling her down.
She was able to give her child to the sales ladies, unfortunately, since the machine was stronger, the mother failed to get up as she was being pulled by the escalator. The employees tried to pull her but it was too late.
In just a few seconds, she disappeared from their sight.
Employees panicked, not knowing what to do next, they left, probably looking for help.
The mother showed how much she loved her son. Her life was taken away in order to save her child.
Several accidents have happened involving escalator malfunctions.
