The NCAA has postponed today’s Season 100 men’s basketball double-header at the FilOil EcoOil Arena in San Juan City due to Tropical Storm Kristine.
In a letter signed by NCAA Season 100 chairman Hercules Callanta, the league cited the expected inclement weather as the reason for the postponement.
The affected games include College of St. Benilde Blazers vs. Lyceum of the Philippines Pirates and Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals vs. Jose Rizal University Heavy Bombers.
“Please be informed that the NCAA Basketball Games for October 23, 2024, are postponed due to inclement weather,” the NCAA said in a statement on late Tuesday.
“The rescheduling of the affected games will be done after due study. Please be guided accordingly,” it added.
Earlier, the UAAP also announced the postponement of its scheduled junior high school and men’s basketball games at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City due to the same weather conditions.
