Micek stars in Macau Black Knights’ TAT title run

The Macau Black Knights razed through the second leg of The Asian Tournament like a wildfire.

The Knights claimed the title following an unbeaten 6-0 romp.

They beat the Underdawg Hoopers, 99-95 in the finals last Sunday in Yantai, China.

Cole Micek had another stellar campaign, leading all Asian Heritage players in scoring for the second straight season, this time clipping 20 a game.

Micek finished with 16 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and one steal in the championship closer.

The Fil-Am from LA, who was once in the Team USA 3×3 pool, hit 26 threes in the tournament where he averaged a high 39.3 percent above the arc. (Homer Sayson)
