Since the beginning of time, dogs have proven that they are truly man’s best friend. These animals are regarded as a family members by their owners and are loyal to the people who take care of them. Most dogs are even considered as heroes as there are reports of these canines saving people’s lives in the past.
In China, there is yet again another dog that went viral due to his heroic deed. Yang Jiali was at home one day when her newly adopted dog suddenly ran out of the house and into a farmland. Yang Jiali recalled that her dog was acting strange during that time and was frantically trying to dig a hole in one area.
As she was trying to see what her dog was doing, she was surprised to find a newborn baby wrapped in a cloth inside a tiny hole which the dog dug up.
She realized that her dog must have smelled the baby and dug a hole to save it. Thankfully, the infant was still alive when the dog found him.
According to Yang Jiali, the poor baby’s mouth was covered with mud and had low body temperature and a slow heart rate.
