The Filipino culture is filled with superstitions and other supernatural beliefs. Due to our ancient traditions and folklore, we were raised by our elders to believe that if you see something out of the ordinary or something unearthly, then you should do a certain ritual to counteract whatever you saw.
One of the oldest examples of these superstitions is seeing a headless image of someone. According to our beliefs, if you see a photo of a person or if you see that individual face-to-face without a head, then you should either burn the clothes they used, cover their head with a black cloth, bury their clothes, or tell everyone about it so that the bad energy lingering around that person would go away.

On Sunday, July 2, “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho” featured a story of a mother who took a photo of her 4-year-old daughter. However, when she went to check what the pictures looked like, she discovered that the three photos she took of her daughter all made her appear that she was missing her limbs.
The show went to debunk the mystery surrounding the mysterious images and hopefully give answers to people experiencing the same thing.
According to the child’s mother, Carmina, she took three photos of her daughter before she went to work. In the first photo, the child was missing her head, arms, and legs. In the second photo, a portion of her hand was gone. In the third photo, she looked normal except for the extra limb attached to her left arm. Carmina said that she didn’t pay any attention to it and thought that maybe there was something wrong with her phone.
