After much anticipation, veteran sports media personality Snow Badua emerged victorious against former college baller Carlos Fenequito in their “grudge match” on Saturday night at the Midas Hotel in Pasay City.

Though not as conditioned as professional boxers, the two combatants drew loud cheers from the spectators inside the venue.

The taller Fenequito appeared to have the advantage early in the bout but eventually ran out of steam after delivering successive shots at Badua. Seizing the opportunity, the media personality applied pressure on Fenequito, turning the tide in his favor.
The ex-hoops player eventually caved in and was dropped in the second round. Fenequito got back up and returned the favor to Badua, who received a standing eight count from the referee.

Badua fell in the third round, but the referee ruled it a slip. Fenequito took advantage, throwing punches at his downed opponent. The two continued to clash until the final bell.

The judges ultimately awarded the win to Badua.

Highlights of the fight were shared in a Facebook post by NJ Madriaga.
