Ethan Alvano limited offensively as Wonju defeats Suwon

Ethan Alvano had limited production as the Wonju DB Promy scored an 87-71 victory over the Suwon KT Sonic Boom in the Korean Basketball League on Tuesday night at the Suwon KT Arena.

The Filipino-American guard/forward tallied eight points and seven assists to go with one rebound and two steals in almost 30 minutes of action for the streaking DB Promy.

Didrick Lawson top-scored with 27 points, while Sangjae Kang and Kim Jong-gyu added 16 markers apiece, with the former adding 11 rebounds.

Wonju head coach Kim Joo-seong gave credit for the victory to his players, as they have exhibited all the things that they have trained for the past few days.

“Every game is different, but the players in today’s game paid attention. Didrick was good at grabbing rebounds due to his height. Even though we gave up a lot to the opponent today, they were covering us well defensively,” Kim said.

Paris Bass led the way with 24 points, Michael Eric added 10 rebounds, and Dave Ildefonso contributed nine points, five assists, and three rebounds for the Sonic Boom. They dropped to 6–5.
