Damian Lillard revealed that OG Anunoby pulled a hilarious prank on him before he was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks.
During an interview with Chris Haynes, Lillard said that he received a text message from Anunoby telling him that he had been traded to the Toronto Raptors.
“I was on the phone, and I just got a random text from O.G., like, welcome to Toronto,” Lillard said.
The seven-time All-Star called Anunoby to confirm the news, and that was when he discovered that that was just a prank.
“He was laughing, and I was like, OK,” Lillard added. “It just caught me off guard. It can happen like that.”
A few weeks ago, multiple reports said that the Raptors were considering a move to acquire Lillard.
Days after Anunoby’s hilarious prank, the Bucks received Lillard in a three-team trade. (MJD)
