Princess Galarpe Marcial has filed a concubinage complaint against her husband, Filipino Olympian Eumir Marcial, over alleged infidelity, according to a report by ABS-CBN News.
The Olympic bronze medalist boxer is accused of meeting another woman in a condominium, which led to his detention in Pasay City for five days, as revealed in Princess’s earlier Facebook post. The case was officially filed at the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office.
Princess claimed she initially dropped the case after Marcial sought forgiveness, but she has since decided to pursue legal action.
“Umiyak siya noong time na ‘yun, nakahawak sa bewang ko. Sabi niya, ‘Bigyan mo ako ng pagkakataon, love.’ And I was willing to give him another chance despite everything. Pero ang ginawa niya po kabaligtaran. Nagsama pa sila ng babae,” she claimed.
Princess also reiterated her allegation that Marcial “emptied” the money in all of their three joint accounts.
“Eumir withdrew our savings, naconfirm ko po. Winidraw niya ang money namin without my permission. Tatlong savings namin. Those joint accounts were intended for our private resort we are building in Tagaytay.
Among the evidence submitted to the prosecutor’s office was a video showing Marcial caught in a Pasay City condominium.
The boxer has denied any illicit relationship, claiming he met the woman to return a wallet.
However, Princess stated that the wallet was already in her possession after finding it in Marcial’s car.
“The (evidence) was submitted to the court and hayaan po nating magdecide sila. Lalabas at lalabas naman ng totoo,” said Princess.
Marcial’s camp, meanwhile, said they will release a statement once they receive a copy of the complaint.
