In every school, teachers are expected to teach their student not only academic-related lessons but also good manners. Because not every child has the same pace in learning, teachers are expected to be very patient with them particularly with little kids.
A teacher from Huachen Foreign Language School in Dongguan city, Guangdong Province, China has been suspended for physically assaulting a 2nd grade female student.
Footage of the incident went viral when a mailman passing by caught it on video and uploaded it on the internet.
In the video, the teacher can be seen dragging the innocent child by her ponytail. Despite the fact that the child was screaming, the teachers still continued dragging her.
The mailman asked the teacher in the video: 'Teacher, how can you treat a primary school student like this?'
The teacher replied: '(She is) my daughter, it's none of your business.'
'Even so, you shouldn't treat your daughter like this. Thus, you are a teacher and it's not right to do so, isn't it?'
According to the school officials, the student went out for lunch earlier that day with her mom and was returned to school for her afternoon class.
However, the little girl refused to go back and instead wandered near the establishment’s gate.
Her class teacher then approached her and talked to her for around 30 minutes until the child agreed to come back to class.
