The locals of Seram Island in Indonesia were left baffled after a local fisherman discovered a huge sea monster’s bloated carcass. The massive blob of hair and flesh washed up on the shores of Hulung beach.
Asrul Tuanakota, the fisherman who found it, initially assumed that it was a giant boat. To his surprise, it was a huge sea monster’s carcass.
The 50-foot-long mysterious sea creature left the locals pondering what kind of animal it really was and what caused its death. Some assumed that it signifies an upcoming natural disaster. A similar creature was also found in the Philippines, however, it was only 15 feet long.

The creature’s size was similar to a whale’s, but its long locks of hair covering its body made the creature unidentifiable. It reportedly smelled awful, according to the locals.
These carcasses being washed up on shores are called globsters. They have no visible eyes, no clear sign of any head, and no bone structure. They are often unrecognizable as they have no particular shape. A globster is a huge, smelly mass of marine flesh found on beaches throughout the world. They are intriguing to people because they are discovered deformed and already dead.
