Authorities started they investigations on February with the Office of National Narcotics Control Commission, the Chinese Provision Drug Law Enforcement Agency. They also coordinated with Chinese Customs in order to track down the delivery of illegal drug shipment. Aside from the confiscated illegal drugs, operatives also arrested the consignee of the shipment, Fidel Dy.
However, the two Taiwanese national lesees of the warehouse are still on the run. All three suspects are charged with violations of the Comprehensive Drug Act of 2002.
The recovered illegal drugs and evidences were taken over to the National Bureau of Investigations (NBI) Forensic Laboratory and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Laboratory.
China called out the international community through Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang and issued a statement after members of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) persuaded the Philippines to end its extrajudicial killings and also to withdraw death penalty's revival.
"We hope the international community can respect the judicial sovereignty of the Philippines and support its efforts in fighting drug-related crimes through cooperation," he said.
Geng called out the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) to be objective in reviewing countries' situations.
Other than China, other countries such as Cuba, Russia and Venezuela commended and expressed positive feedbacks for the achievements and efforts of the Philippines to fix and eliminate threats in the coountry as well as improving human rights.
