PLDT’s Davison excited for injured teammates’ return

Filipina-American volleybelle Savannah Davison eagerly anticipates the full and healthy roster of the PLDT High Speed Hitters in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).

Davison believes that the return of injured teammates Kim Kianna Dy, Mika Reyes, and Jovielyn Prado will enhance the competitiveness of the High Speed Hitters.

“It just adds depth to our team. We care for everybody, and we hope that their recovery is fast,” Davison said in an interview published on the PVL website.

“Seeing them on the court and seeing them play this sport that they love, I think that will just feed into the positivity that we have right now,” she added.
Among the three, only Dy has a chance to return in the ongoing All-Filipino Conference, while Reyes and Prado are expected to make their comeback in the second conference.

The High Speed Hitters initiated their campaign with a commanding 25-22, 25-6, and 25-9 straight-set victory against the Galeries Tower Highrisers last Thursday.

They will strive to secure their second consecutive win against the NxLed Chameleons this afternoon at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.
