This female student tried to catch the toddler falling from a window, but failed to do so.
The incident occurred in the Henan Province in Central China at around 7:30 in the morning. The baby fell on a motorbike delivery bag and bounced off the ground. Luckily, the baby survived and with no injuries.
Chen Kyu, the schoolgirl, was walking past the location along with other passers-by where the accident took place. In the footage, she was the only one who desperately tried to catch the baby.
Chen quickly picked up and carried the boy. People gathered around to check on him. Another woman approached them and took the baby from her. The baby was then rushed to Xingyang People's Hospital but was discharged the same morning as well.
Reports said the baby was left alone at the time of the incident, but the local authorities have yet to say whether they will charge the family for committing negligence.
