During Marawi crisis, Robredo is asking donations for the victims of the Marawi City.
And this is actually not the first time that she went to the private sector and NGO's to ask help, claiming that the office of the vice president lacks resources to do so. Which is partly true.
According to the 2016 COA report, the OVP have spent only two-thirds of its annual budget. COA says that this isnot good.
However, her supporter tweeted that "Hindi masyadong gumastos pero maraming nagawa..."

Below is the comment of COA regarding under spending:
"Robredo's office showed poor absorptive capacity, resulting in under spending that led to undelivered services that could have benefited more indigents/underprivileged Filipinos."
Meanwhile, Sass Rogando Sasot blogger and critic of Robredo urged the public to ask Robredo why she insisted the OVP has no budget reason why she turns to the private sector and NGO's.
