28 Pounds And 30 Inches Of Large Intestine Were Surgically Removed From A Man Who Has Been Constipated For 22 Years!

We are sure you have experienced being constipated or at least unable to expel our wastes when we want to because of circumstances. 

But could you imagine being unable to dump your wastes because you have been suffering from constipation - since you were born?

This man who remains to be unnamed suffers from Hirschsprung’s disease, a condition in which nerves in some of the muscles inside the colon are lacking, making bowel movement difficult. He had to rely on laxatives and drugs in order to induce bowel movement. 

After years of suffering, he decided to help seek at the 10th People’s Hospital of Shanghai, in East China.

After three hours of surgery, the medical staff was able to remove 30-inches off his large intestine.

The intestine was stitched to prevent the stool from exploding. It reportedly contains 13 kilograms of stool. 

Currently, the patient is doing well and recovering. 

Well, at least he was able to take off that burden off his chest.
