Kiefer Ravena fires eight points as Shiga manhandles Iwate

Kiefer Ravena had a respectable output in a limited number of minutes as the Shiga Lakes bounced back with a 92-51 domination of the Iwate Big Bulls in Japan B.League Division 2 action on Wednesday night at the Shiga Daihatsu Arena.

The former NLEX Road Warriors guard played only for 13 minutes and finished with eight points to go with five assists, two rebounds, and a steal as the Lakes improved to 4-3 in the standings.

Ryan Kriener had a near double-double of 17 points and nine rebounds to lead the Lakes; Brock Motum added 12 markers; Kazuki Miyamoto and Daichi Nomoto ended up with 11 points each.

Harumichi Ishikawa tallied 14 points, including four three-point conversions, while Kelvin Martin had 10 points and eight rebounds as the Big Bulls suffered their sixth defeat as a lone win.

In Division 1 action, Dwight Ramos posted 13 points, five rebounds, and five assists, but the Levanga Hokkaido dropped a close one against the Chiba Jets, 82-77, at the Hokkai Kita-yale.

With the outcome, Ramos and Levanga dropped to 1-6 in the standings, while the Jets notched their fourth victory in seven matches.

Rhon Jay Abarrientos made his return for the Shinshu Brave Warriors (2-5), but they still suffered an 80-74 defeat to the Saga Ballooners (2-5) at the Saga Arena.

The former Far Eastern University Tamaraws guard was reactivated by the Brave Warriors against the Ballooners as he finished with seven points, two rebounds, and one assist in eight minutes.
