The Meralco Bolts have decided to bring in Zach Lofton for their Commissioner’s Cup campaign after original import Su Braimoh sustained a torn Achilles.
Lofton is one of the Bolts’ reinforcements in the East Asia Super League (EASL). He stands at 6’3, making him the smallest import in the Commissioner’s Cup. Meanwhile, Meralco’s other EASL import, Prince Ibeh, is 6’10, which is over the height limit.
The Bolts are coming off a 99-96 win over NLEX in the game where Braimoh suffered his injury. The Nigerian-American reinforcement has been a perfect fit for the Bolts, as he carried the team to a 4-1 record in the standings.
Meralco’s next game will be on Sunday against the NorthPort Batang Pier. (MJD)
