Despite parting ways with the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, Bea de Leon remains a proud friend of Kat Tolentino, especially as Kat continues to power through the new PVL season while managing her hearing loss.
In their second All-Filipino Conference (AFC) game against the Galeries Tower Highrisers, Kat reestablished herself as a dominant force for Choco Mucho, recording 27 points, including 20 attacks and seven blocks.
This phenomenal performance by the “Hurricane” prompted Bea to express her happiness on Instagram.
“What a way to come back. A heart of steel,” she wrote.
The Choco Mucho stalwart opened up about her ongoing struggle with hearing loss, nearly six months after revealing she had been diagnosed with a condition that causes severe vertigo and affects her senses and balance.
Built to fight, Kat continues to prove that determination and passion will always triumph in the face of adversity.
