Several people who were in the Resorts World were filed to be missing and among them is the 29-year old Hazel Yongco, a table supervisor. Upon hearing the gunshot incidents in Resorts World, her father, Gil Yongco immediately went to seek for her, as soon as he got there, the hotel was in flames.

As devastating as it can be, no one was able to direct the Mr. Yongco to his daughter. News reports says that Hazel was seen running by an employee but when Hazel dropped her phone, the employee tried to picked it up but Hazel suddenly was nowhere to be found behind him. There was not a single trace of Hazel whereabouts was found.

"What should I do? No one could tell me anything. But my daughter is still there," the father was determined to look for his daughter but the hotel was billowed in smoke coming out of its windows.

He calls out to his daughter, and asking police officers of her whereabouts left him with no anwers.

Hazel's father then thought that his daughter may be one of the thirty eight casualties in the robbery.

Getting no definite answer from authorities, Mr. Yongco plead to at least let him have his daughter's body.

"Just give me the body please."

Mark Yongco, Hazel's brother also expressed his sorrow.

"We are deeply saddened by the loss of my sister, Hazel. There is complete chaos in lawlessness.”

There is still no updates or news of the whereabouts of Hazel Yongco.

Hundreds of policemen and soldiers were deployed even at the first incident of the shooting. Two armored personnel carriers were sent to search of possible other fighters but no one has been arrested yet.

In the CCTV footage released in public, a single armed man went inside the Resorts World armed with a M4 Rifle by bypassing the security metal detector. As soon as he got inside, he started torching gambling tables, slot machines and other things, even the carpet. He then proceeded inside the cages to where the chips are stored and bagged the ones with the highest denominations.

The hotel's security team along with the Philippine National Police to back them up, went in pursuit with the gunman. One of them had a gunfight with the shooter and was able to hit him on the leg, causing him to limp while looking for a way to escape.

However, Philippine National Police chief, Director General Ronald dela Rosa stated that this may not be a part of terrorist attack in relation to what is happening in Marawi City. If it was an act of terror, the shooter could've started shooting people because that is what terrorist do, sowing terror. But instead, the shooter did not hurt anyone, all he did was burn stuff inside the casino, steal chips and shoot a TV.

"Up to this time, we can’t say this is an act of terror. Why? Because [the shooter] had done no other violent act inside, aside from stealing chips and shooting at a TV. He did not hurt anyone. If you were a terrorist, you want to sow terror. You would have gunned down people,"
