It rarely crosses people's mind to think that a mother would be capable of hurting her child. However, in this story, this unimaginable thing happened, and for the most heart-breaking reason.
Arina, sweet angel was two-years-old. She recently died because of a brutal beating. Her father Senad Kardasevic was able to give his daughter one last kiss before she passed away after sustaining lethal injuries two days earlier.
Senad Kardasevic got separated from his wife Sanda Alibabic. They have lived together for a while with their four daughters, including the youngest Arina in Jesenice, Slovenia. When they separated, Sanda lived with her boyfriend Mirzan Jakupi who was also separated and has children of his own. Sanda took the youngest which is Arina, while the two older girls lived with Senad.

Senad found unexplained bruises on his little girl which prompted him to seek the help of social services workers. He asked them to investigate his daughter's living conditions. However, they found nothing wrong with the mother's side.

One day, Arina was rushed to the hospital with broken bones, a swollen face and a very badly bruised body which made the doctors suspicious. Though Sanda already told the paramedics that her daughter accidentally ran into a radiator, the doctors still called the police. Arina's mom and the boyfriend were arrested and are expected to be charged with murder.
Senad was contacted and was told that her little angel was in the hospital already. He was still able to give his daughter a last kiss and bid goodbye before they permanently go in separate ways.
