#WalangPasok: Class cancellations for Monday, July 24, 2017

Classes have been canceled in some areas on Monday, July 24, 2017 due to President Rodrigo Duterte's State of the Nation Address to be given at a joint session of Congress.

The Quezon City local government posted Monday, class suspension covers all levels in both private and public schools in the city.

The speech at Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City will be Duterte's second SONA, where he is expected to discuss the progress of his policies and plans.

Authorities are expecting around 5,000 protesters to flock to the venue.
