Kiefer Ravena recorded another double-double performance as the Shiga Lakes prevailed over the Ehime Orange Vikings, 100-89, in Japan B.League Division 2 on Friday night at the Iyo Citizen Gymnasium.
The former NLEX Road Warriors star finished with 25 points and 11 assists to go with five rebounds as the Lakes remained on top of the Western Division standings with a 22-7 record.
“As I continue to look for ways to win, I am conscious of continuing to play the right way and always making good decisions. That’s my mentality,” Ravena said in a post-game interview.
“It was a tough away game, and I think it was a game where we were looking for a way to win. There were some difficult times as we battled hard, but I’m glad we were able to come away with a victory,” he added.
Ryan Kriener led the way for the Lakes with 32 points and nine rebounds, while Hayato Wakugawa and Brock Motum also posted double-digit outputs of 13 and 10 markers, respectively.
Takumi Furuno ended with 21 points to lead the Orange Vikings; Eugene Phelps added a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds; and Tucker Haymond contributed 17 points. They dropped to 7-22.
