The UST Golden Tigresses enjoyed the warmth of Thomasian generosity when each player received custom Nike Kobe 8 Protro shoes from an anonymous supporter.
The Golden Tigresses team members received their customized shoes, complete with their jersey numbers, on Monday evening and will soon use them in their UAAP Season 86 women’s volleyball tournament matches.
“THIS UST COMMUNITY KNOWS HOW TO LOVE AND APPRECIATE. 
,” according to a post on the UST Women’s and Girls Volleyball Team Facebook Page.
“Thank you so much to the kind soul (who wanted to stay anonymous) who sponsored customized USTe Kobe 8 Protros for the Golden Tigresses,” it added. “You, our 8th man, are the best. Tuloy ang Go USTe! 
”
As per Nike’s website, the Nike Kobe Protro 8 is priced at approximately P9,000.
The Golden Tigresses currently lead the standings with an impressive 4-0 win-loss record.
