Former NBA center Dwight Howard returned to the Philippines on Thursday for a couple of weeks of vacation.
In a social media post, the one-time NBA champion announced his surprise arrival in the country along with his two kids.
Fastbreak learned from a source that Howard and his group are here in the country to visit some famous tourist spots, including Boracay Island in Aklan.
Upon his arrival in the country on Thursday afternoon, Howard and his group went straight to Ilocos Sur to visit the home of retired politico Luis Chavit Singson.
Howard previously arrived in the Philippines last January, when he played as an import for the Strong Group Athletics in the 2024 Dubai International Basketball Championship.
The former NBA top overall pick is set to play for the Taiwan Mustangs squad in The Asian Tournament, the basketball league he partly owns.
