There is nothing more painful than losing a loved one. Saying goodbye to them, especially if you have a special bond together, can be traumatic and depressing.
This tragic incident happened to one man as he lost his wife and was left all alone to take care of their daughter.
Rafael Del Col lost his pregnant wife, Tatiane “Tati” Valques, in a car accident in 2011. Aside from losing both his wife and unborn child, he was also left to take care of their 1-year-old daughter, Raisa.
After 6 months of mourning, he created a blog in order to easily recover from a suddenly becoming a widower and single dad.
As he wrote his feelings online, he felt as if he lacked a certain element to honor his wife.
To solve his dilemma, he recreated his photos with Tati when she was still alive, but with a twist.
Rafael decided to re-enact their 2009 pre-nup photos with their daughter Raisa in place of Tati. The two of them did the photoshoot in November 2014 with Raisa wearing some of her mom’s things.
