There is nothing more heartbreaking for parents than to see their very own child pass away before them. Taking care of them since they were born into this world then suddenly disappearing in the blink of an eye is definitely depressing. Still, parents have to face this grueling process and accept the fact that their child will soon be gone from their arms.
This is what happened to this father from provincial China who dug up a grave for his sick girl to 'set her up for her passing'.
Zhang Liyong, a farmer from Sichuan province spent all of his savings on her daughter’s medication. As it turns out, her baby girl suffers from a serious blood disorder and has a small chance for survival.
He said that he prepared her two-year-old daughter for her death by bringing her to her grave to play then to rest in it so that she would eventually be familiar with her future burial space.

The father can be seen in a footage posted by Pear Video holding her daughter, Zhang Xinlei as they both lay in her grave.
According to her medical records, Xinlei has Thalassemia, an inherited blood disorder, when she was only two months old.
Thalassemia is an illness wherein the afflicted person produces either none or too little hemoglobin, which is used by red blood cells to carry oxygen around the body.
People with this disease can survive; however, it requires life-long treatment through blood transfusion.
Zhang and his family had spent more than 100,000 yuan ($14,681) treating Xinlei. Unfortunately, they have now run out of cash for her medication.

"We borrowed money from many, but they are no longer willing to lend us more", Zhang said.
"We have been driven into a corner. There is no other option," Deng Min, the girl's mother said.
Eventually, they gave up her treatment and accepted their daughter’s fate.
"I could only come up with this idea - bringing her to play at this place. This is where she will rest in peace. All I can do is accompanying her every day," Zhang said.
Zhang hopes that his daughter won’t be afraid of the grave anymore and would eventually get used to it when the time comes.
