Brisbane, Australia — Manny Pacquiao is willing to exercise the option in the fight contract that calls for an immediate rematch following his shocking loss to Australian Jeff Horn on Sunday at Suncorp Stadium in a fight dubbed as the “Battle of Brisbane.”

“Absolutely,” Pacquiao said when asked about the provision in the contract that mandates Horn to grant a second meeting assuming he wins.

A gracious Manny Pacquiao said he respected the decision to award Jeff Horn a stunning upset victory in their WBO welterweight title fight, despite a widespread belief that the Australian should not have been declared the winner on the judges' scorecards. Horn was able to celebrate one of boxing's great shock triumphs at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium as the three judges scored Saturday's fight 117-111, 115-113 and 115-113 in his favour.

The Filipino holds the contractual rights to a rematch and confirmed he would exercise it, adding: "Absolutely, yes. We have a rematch [clause], so no problem. "It would be better if the rematch would be held in the Philippines."

Jeff Horn could still not believe that he won the flight.

Asked how he managed to win, the new champion replied: "I don't know. I guess with the crowd behind me and all the support.

According to boxing analyst, definitely the said rematch will cause around 2 million as a minimum bet and cost for the said rematch.

Everyone is definitely excited for the rematch, however many says that it is a marketing strategy and boxing is no longer a sport but a gamble. Let us hear more on your insights on this one.
