In response to the filing of conspiracy to commit sedition case he and company is facing, former Senator Trillanes dismissed this as mere political harassment.

The former senator ended the statement with bold words by assuring President Duterte that he and the opposition will not be cowed by such political persecution. On the contrary, they are more determined and motivated to continue their fight for democracy and rights of the people.

Trixie Cruz-Angeles of the FB Page “Luminous by Trixie Cruz-Angeles & Ahmed Paglinawan” remarked that Trillanes does not understand when he said the Duterte admin is weaponizing the law to go after critics like him, the media and the Opposition. According to her, it must be because it is his interest not to understand, play stupid? But, we all should.
