Some social media users have pounced on the hate towards former Gilas head coach Chot Reyes in order to get more likes and followers on their respective accounts.
One particular post that is now circulating on social media is a fake quote card from Reyes.
“Kung magalit kayo sa akin parang ako ‘yung nangako ng 3-6 months at 20 pesos per kilo na bigas,” the fake quote card read.
Reyes refuted what was written on the quote card.
“Fake news alert: I never said this!” Reyes said in his Instagram post.
Reyes has been a hot topic on social media over the past couple of days after Gilas Pilipinas ended the FIBA World Cup with one win against four losses.
After the tournament, Reyes announced that he would step down from his post as Gilas head coach. (MJD)
