"Wala naman siyang inutusan in particular. Wala man siyang sinabi na ikaw Bato patayin mo yan, wala naman siyang sinabing ganon diba? Out of dismay sa sitwasyon, galit na galit siya doon sa mga tao na 'yon na gumawa ng krimen," Dela Rosa stated.
"Pero wala siyang sinabihan na ikaw hanapin mo 'yan patayin mo. Wala naman siyang sinabi na ganon," added Dela Rosa.
When the President visited the victims' wake at San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, he said that he wanted them dead. He vowed that there'll definitely be justice for the poor victims of the massacre. However, he clarified that did not order anyone to execute any of them.
"When the time comes, you’re dead. Whatever human rights would do, let them take care of it. Maybe they [human rights groups] would like to handle anti-drug [campaign], I am willing to let go all together my particular duty in reference to drugs. I can give it to them and they are afraid, you enforce it. Not all criminals would live," Duterte said.
"And I will repeat my warning, I told everybody since the beginning that if you destroy my country, I will kill you. And if you destroy the young of this country…it happened here which is more…" said Duterte.
The two suspects identified as Ronaldo Pacinos alias Inggo, and Roosebelt Sorima alias Ponga were recently found dead. Pacinos had his four fingers chopped off and his neck was wrapped with a car fan's belt while the latter was shot dead in his home in San Jose del Monte. He was reportedly the brother-in-law of Carmelino "Miling" Ibañes, the 26-year old construction worker who was primarily arrested and confessed to the killings.
Carmelino Ibañes, confessed to the murder and stated that he was with other two suspects who were also drunk and on drugs while committing the heinous crime.
However, lab results for Carmelino Ibañes tested negative for drug use. Chief Superintendent Aaron Aquino quoted what the chemist said that Ibañes’ metabolism is fast or he only took a small dosage of illegal drugs, which is why he tested negative after a day of use.
"It’s possible the shabu he used was not that concentrated," he said.
The President described the crime as a "work of a devil." "Patayin 'yung mga bata, papatayin ko kayo," he said, linking the grisly murders to illegal drugs.
Duterte also berated the human rights advocates. He said that he will let them handle the drug operations of the government and he is willing to step back and have them personally talk to the criminals.
"Maybe they want to handle the anti-drug (campaign). I’m willing to let go altogether my particular duty in reference to drugs. I can give it to them… Maybe all criminals will live," he claimed. "Tell the criminals to stop the god d**n s**t so there will be no more killing," he added.
Duterte said that the human rights are clueless that illegal drugs is funding the operation of the terrorist in Marawi City.
The President offered the families of the victims a new housing unit, P275,000 a cellphone. He told them if there's anything they need, just give him a call.
