Adik sa Kapangyarihan?
A placard-bearing unnamed member of the Anakbayan Southern Luzon calling President Duterte “@dik sa kapangyarihan” has earned the ire and elicited an forceful rebuttal from FB blogger Noel Sarifa on Facebook.
“Adik si Duterte sa kapangyarihan?” An obviously astonished Noel Landero Sarifa asked for a second opinion to make he was not fooled by his eyes.
Sarifa remarked that if the allegation was true, Duterte would have run when he was younger to enjoy the perks of power in a long time. “Bakit sya tumakbo sa pagkapresidente na matanda na sya dapat noong bata pa sya para matamasa nya ang kapangyarihan ng mas matagal pa.”
Sarifa reckoned Duterte should not have picked a fight against the Oligarchs because they can help him financially. “Sana hindi nya kinalaban ang mga oligarch, sana kinaibigan, dahil sila ang tutulong sa kanya financially.”
Sarifa said an @ddict of power would have avoided clashing with the US, EU and UN. If Duterte was guilty as charged, he should have ingratiate himself to these entities just like what the LP did that the Anakbayan activist has been defending. “Adik sa kapangyarihan pero binabangga ang US, EU, UN, kung hayok ka sa kapangyarihan dapat sisip ka doon tulad ng mga pinagtatanggol mong LP.”
If Duterte was an “@addict of power”, he should have named all the highways, airports and projects after him. “Sana lahat ng daan, airport, at project nya may mukha nya o nakapangalan sa kanya. E yong iba dyan hindi naman sila nagpagawa pero inangkin na.”
If Duterte was an “@addict of power”, he should have given the go-signal to plaster his face on money bills and the plan to erect a monument in his honor in Manila or Makati. “Sana pumayag syang ilagay mukha nya sa pera, pumayag patayuan ng rebulto sa Makati at Manila.”
If Duterte was an “@addict of power” , he should have kept the farm lands for his family rather that distribute it to the famers. “Sana imbes na ipamahagi ung lupa sa mga magsasaka dapat kinamkam nya yun tulad ng hacienda luisita.”
If Duterte was an “@addict of power” , he should abandoned the infra projects of the previous admins because their names are identified with the said projects. “sana imbes na tapusin ang mga projects ng past admin hindi na nya tinuloy kasi nakakabit doon ang pangalan ng dating mga namumuno.”
If Duterte was an “@addict of power”, he should have not called out the powerful Church and correct their mistakes and abuses because the priests have a huge influence over their flocks. “sana hindi nya tinutuwid ang mali ng simbahan dahil ang laking impluwensya ng mga pari sa mga deboto.”
Power-hungry? Or lusting for power? Sarif asked. He turned the tables around and accused the leftist groups of being power-hungry because they don’t respect someone like Duterte who was elected by the people and they want their candidate to replace him. “Adik sya sa kapangyarihan? O kayong hayok sa kapangyarihan kasi hindi nyo kayang respetuhin ang halal ng taumbayan at gusto nyo kandidato nyo ang namumuno.”
Sarifa hoped that President Duterte should silenced all his critics. And also the placard-bearing activist accusing President Duterte of being power-hungry. “Sana pinapatahimik nya lahat ng naninira sa kanya. Sana pinatahimik ka nya.”
Sarifa hoped the placard-bearing activist was not even there if Duterte was power-hungry that paints him to be. “Sana wala ka dyan sa kalsada dala dala yang banner mo kung adik sa kapangyarihan si Pres. Duterte.”
Sarifa wrapped up the rant by accusing the leftist activist of being the supporter of a politician eager to replace President Duterte in Malacanang. “Idilat ang mata lawakan ang pag-iisip, dahil ang nagtulak sayo papunta sa kalsada ang atat na atat makaupo sa palasyo upang mapagnakawan ang taumbayan, at mauto ng paulit ulit ang buong sambayanan. Hindi lang sila adik kundi hayok na hayok..”
