According to her website, Rima Baransi is a Palestinia-born dancer and choreographer. Inspired by her mother who is a former Ballerina, she studied her way through school, excelling in dance. Immediately after graduating she joined the Jerusalem Academy of music and dance for one academic year.
In 2016, this Palestinian ballerina made rounds on the Internet when she performed an extemporaneous ballet routine when they passed by a man playing the violin. She gracefully danced to the music the violin was producing. She even took off her slippers and danced barefoot!
On the video, her Arab dad can be heard saying, "Come on Rima do it for me. For the love of god start already. Look I'm even recording.” Upon hearing this and gaining all the courage she needed, Rima started spinning on the road, swiftly dancing to the tune.
