Draymond Green on Chet Holmgren: ‘He’s a problem’

The Oklahoma City Thunder may have lost against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, but rookie Chet Holmgren left a great first impression on veteran forward Draymond Green.

Holmgren put up a brilliant all-around performance of 24 points, eight rebounds, five assists, a steal, and a block. However, his efforts went to naught as Stephen Curry scored on a game-winning lay-up to lead the Warriors to a 141-139 win.

Still, Holmgren impressed the Warriors.

“Chet’s a problem,” Green said in the post-game press conference. “He can play. He can dribble the ball, he can shoot the ball, he has great length, and he is a great shot blocker. He’s only gonna get better.”

Even Curry recognized Holmgren’s skills, as the two swapped jerseys after the game.

“[Chet] is ridiculously talented. He crossed me up at my own camp, whatever year that was,” Curry recalled.

Holmgren is averaging 17.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists over the first six games of his career.
