Jeremy “The Jaguar” Miado now has the chance to move to get back into the win column when ONE Championship holds its biggest card in Qatar.
Miado joins the ONE 166: Qatar card on March 1 inside Lusail Sports Arena as he takes on the dangerous Keito “Pocket Monk” Yamakita in a three-round strawweight MMA bout.
After reaching new heights by cracking the top five just a couple of years ago, “The Jaguar” experienced a dip.
He lost to contenders Mansur Malachiev and Lito Adiwang in his last two fights.
But the 31-year-old Bicolano remains committed to his return to top form.
In fact, he’s been locked in with the likes of Drex and Denice Zamboanga at T-Rex Mixed Martial Arts Training Center since losing the Adiwang rematch last November.
He’ll need all the preparation he can get, especially as he steps up against the war-scarred Yamakita, who’s fresh off his recent setback.
Yamakita tasted the first loss of his career when he dropped a unanimous decision to No. 2-ranked strawweight contender Bokang Masunyane on January 28.
