Some people are willing to spend thousands and thousands just to feel that they are beautiful. The pressure to be considered attractive has become higher because of social media. It is a place where we see good-looking people living what seems to be perfect lives every day. But this from Malaysia had a complete transformation just to look like his favorite character from Final Fantasy, Squall Leonhart.
Amirul Rizwan Musa, 21, from Kelantan Malaysia, at first only wanted to go through plastic surgery to get rid of the marks on his face from having chicken pox. The young man later revealed that his fondness for anime was part of his decision.

He admitted that he lost his self-confidence after he had the chicken pox when he was sixteen. His skin became scarred and that was when he started feeling ashamed. His obsession with anime became part of why he wanted to undergo surgery aside from his desire to bring back his self-assurance.
Sadly, his want to be accepted by the people turned the other way around. Many are criticizing him for his new ‘anime’ look. Many netizens mocked his transformation.

Amirul got the money from his surgery after winning an online beauty competition. Sources say that he had spent around $46,500 on his operations, but the young man has not confirmed it yet.
He said, “I won the Ulzzang Asia online competition back in 2012 and decided to do plastic surgery after I was offered to become a model following the win.”
The transformed young man is doing modelling work and is establishing his business. He is selling beauty products.
The pictures he uploaded online of his before and after appearances have gone viral online. However, the online comments are getting the best of him both emotionally and financially.
Not all of Musa’s family members are supportive of his plastic surgery. Thankfully, though his siblings do not agree with him, he has the full support of his parents.
