Kiefer Ravena consistently faces criticism whenever he wears the Gilas Pilipinas jersey.
Throughout the years, the Shiga Lakes guard has faced a multitude of negative comments from online users, frequently including the critique of being labeled as “Boy Dribble.”
In a unique chance, the former NLEX Road Warriors player has opened up about his thoughts on the “Boy Dribble” label.
“Syempre, i-dribble ko talaga ang bola. Kung hindi ko i-dribble edi traveling ‘yun,” Ravena said in a podcast interview with Ilonggo sportsman Rodolfo Go Villaruz.
“Basta ako, I never entertain those na lang. I just focus on playing basketball,” added the former Ateneo Blue Eagles guard.
Ravena is gearing up for his second FIBA World Cup appearance, having been selected as one of the ‘Gilas Pilipinas 12’ members for the tournament.
