University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons guard Harold Alarcon denied having a relationship with controversial Cebu personality and LGBTQ community member Jude Bacalso.
In a Facebook post, Alarcon said he does not personally know Bacalso, a writer, former television personality, and host in Cebu. He clarified that he is only romantically linked to Capital1 Solar Energy Solar Spikers libero Roma Mae Doromal.
“Roma Mae lang po jowa ko. Stop spreading wrong information. Thanks, boss,” Alarcon wrote.
In a Facebook story post on Monday night, Bacalso thanked Alarcon for not leaving her despite a “misgendering” incident involving her that made the rounds on social media over the weekend.
“Thank you, babe, for not leaving me and loving me to the fullest!” Bacalso wrote on his post.
Bacalso drew flak online on Monday after making a restaurant staff member in Cebu stand in front of her for almost two hours on Sunday night, as per reports, for addressing her as “sir.”
Bacalso claimed in another Facebook post on Monday that she had already reached out to apologize but was unable to personally talk to the restaurant staff involved in the incident as he was not there.
