Fil-Canadian Aleksander Pachucki opts to commit to NCAA Division 1 school

Filipino-Canadian cager Aleksander Pachucki has opted to commit to an NCAA Division 1 school instead of choosing from the numerous offers from Manila-based universities.

In a social media post on Monday night, the 6-foot-6 forward announced that he has decided to play for Fordham University in Bronx, New York, for college.

“Without further ado, I am excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic journey at Fordham University,” Pachucki wrote on his Instagram account.

The 19-year-old Pachucki has recently played for the Filipino-Canadian Select Team in the Smart-NBTC National Finals held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Prior to his decision to play for Fordham, Pachucki was being recruited by some UAAP schools, the De La Salle University Green Archers, and the Far Eastern University Tamaraws.
